First hour in freerolls

First Hour of Freerolls
So you just started a tourney, you get a lock on the flop and go all in, because of course, you'll have chasers who really couldn't care less if they win or lose,. Now assuming they do not get lucky, which seems to happen alot, you win. Your now sitting on around 3k chips, a few hands later, you get all your chips in the pot in a similar situation, you win. Your now sitting on around 6-7k chips. My question is, how long do you wait to play now, or do you wait at all? Should you wait till the average stack raises up to around half your stack size which normally happen around the first break? Or should you keep fighting with all in freaks and take the chance of taking a bad beat? Getting over this first hump seems to be one of the hardest parts of the tourney for me, everyone wants to get all their chips in during the early stages of the tournament. So, what do you do? Personelly i feel if you get to this stage u should then be starting to think about playing tight until at least the first break. Not that all donks will be out by then, But youll have given yourself a chance to now sit and play real poker and build your stack. In the early stages your main aim is survival. You dont need to be chip leader to get tothe bubble and then hopefully itm. If you can get that far by winning some pots and stealing blinds when the chance arises. You then set yourself up to go into the money where if you win a pot it can change a whole game for you. And set u up to go on and be placed in the top 3. Please feel free to comment as id be interested on what other people think about the early stages in freerolls
