Admins's Bankroll challenge! - [Sept. - Oct. Update]

Alright everyone...

As you can tell, I've been a little negligent in updating my challenge duties.... But I'm back and ready to update!

Well, I left off with an August update so I'll start this story where I left off in August.

In Sept. I played about $115.05 worth of games and I won $163.6, so I profited $48.55 in the Month of Sept. king
Highlight wins in Sept. includes a $49 win the a $5.50 10k rebuy and a $93 4th place win in a 2.25 game. I didn't do anything special this month. My average game buy in was about 3.30 but finishing the month positive was a plus because I was down in August.

In Oct. I played about $122.50 worth of games and I won $228.03, so I profited $105.53 in the month of October! Woot!!! king
Highlight wins in Oct. includes an 11th place win for $132 in a 3.30 rebuy game and 3rd place for $83 in a 2.25 game. Because my BR increased this month, I was able up move up the buy-in amounts for $8.80 games. FT has a 180 man $8.80 that I played, but never won any money... I played 5 of the $8.80 games without winning so I stopped playing them. Playing the 180 person 8.80 reminds me a lot of playing Cardschat games. They were very tight and long... I was going though an aggressive phase of my poker playing at the time and I wasn't able to tailor my play to to successful at the point (which is exactly what is needed to be successful in games <= 180)
At this point, I'm playing mostly 3.30 and 5.50 games. I do plan to go back to the 8.80 games at some point to at least get 1 ITM (it would be good for my confidence also, lol)

It's really important for people to go back and read my early blogs about the challenge. I started doing this to prove that regular people can do it if they have good BRM and to prove that good BRM is the way to be successful at poker. I'd recommend that you find the blog month that matches your BR and try to do what I did. If you BR is at $0-20, go read the January update!
